Tuber Melansporum is the first European truffle successfully grown in Australia. It is a type of fungi that grows underground. Truffles are renowned for their enticing aroma and earthy umami flavour, making them a prized culinary ingredient.

Sweet condiment, often spread on bread.

A savoury condiment traditionally used as a spread on sandwiches, hotdogs and burgers, it can also be added to marinades, sauces and dressings.

Summer Truffles, or Burgandy truffles, are found mostly throughout Europe. They have only been successfully grown in Australia over the last five years.
